Description
A classic pilot jacket made for the army for over 40 years and features nylon satin on the outside, with reversible orange nylon lining and sewn Blood Chit.
It is ideal for rainy weather.
It has a knitted collar, cuffs and elastic in the middle, a zipper and a small pocket on the sleeve.
The “pilot” jacket MA-1 from Alpha Industries has the “Blood Chit” sewn on the inner lining.
“Blood Chit” was a type of flag that contained a message in many languages, to identify an aviator as an American if his plane was shot down and to help him avoid capture and return safely to US forces.
